Over at Remus exhaust in Austria, they have been quite busy crafting a custom system for the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. This car has taken the automotive press by storm and it’s a testament to its abilities that Remus has quickly adapted the first top level exhaust system to market for the car.

This comes unsurprisingly as Remus was born out of ambitious projects in the 90’s and has since grown to be Europe’s premier manufacturer of both aftermarket exhausts, and importantly as a top supplier in the OEM market. Brands including BMW, Mercedes AMG, Porsche, Volkswagen, McLaren and tuners such as Brabus, ABT and AC-Schnitzer. And now Alfa Romeo is top of the list.

For the New Giulia, Remus is taking a special mix of their racing heritage and OEM manufacturing skillsets and bringing them into one exquisitely crafted system for the Quadrifgolio. Having OEM experience is key to allowing access to shared CAD files, which allows for fully automated quick and accurate fitment of the exhausts using the factory mounting points.

For 2017, Remus is supplier of the Mercedes DTM cars with a race exhaust made from Inconel steel. This commitment to top end race technology trickles down to every system made.

And Remus uses a world class sound room mixed with real world testing and sound captures to make sure the aural satisfaction is top level. Using the sound room in conjunction with anti-drone sound analysis is a key component to delivering an exhaust system that works with the Alfa Giulia.

Dyno numbers show an honest 11 hp / 4 ft. lb. gain in power for the Quadrifoglio.
